Global Xchange

Global Xchange aims to support the development of active global citizens,
committed to working for positive change within communities.

The Global Xchange programme is a six-month exchange programme which gives young people from different countries a unique opportunity to work together, to develop and share valuable skills and to make a practical contribution where it is needed in local communities.

Global Xchange is managed by a partnership of two organisations: VSO and the British Council.

Global Xchange is a proud supporter of the One Young World summit, London, 2010. For the first time in history young people have the means to connect with one another in their thousands and across borders to affect the way the world is run. Faced with problems that are global, looking for solutions that are global and ready to make global resolutions and plans, the young people who will lead the world in the future can make an impact now.
